Ginny Eickholdt Daylily (Paul K. Lewis, Spring 2026) (Pray Without Ceasing (Emmerich) X Dr. Frances S. Baker (Lewis)) Tet., M, Sev, 6″ bloom, 28″ scape, 2 to 3 way branching, 14 buds.
Hybridizers Notes: Ginny Eickholdt is one of my good daylily friends on Facebook. Unfortunately Ginny passed a couple years ago. I have never met Ginny in person, but I always felt a connection with her. We both loved daylilies and seemed to share similar interests in music. Ginny lived in White Lake, Michigan and her daughter, Emily gave me permission to name a daylily for her. Ginny hybridized daylilies at Urban Flora Daylilies. Emily said her favorite color was purple, so I hope Ginny approves of this daylily as her namesake. The daylily Ginny Eickholdt is a lovely purple bloom with a light purple frosted watermark. It is complemented by a corresponding light purple and gold double edge. It is easily fertile both ways. Named for a lovely person we all miss very much(Pray Without Ceasing (Emmerich) X Dr. Frances S. Baker (Lewis)) Tet., M, Sev, 6″ bloom, 28″ scape, 2 to 3 way branching, 14 buds.
