Echo Chamber Daylily (Paul K. Lewis, Spring 2024) (Soloman’s Sunrise (Ansari) X Venetian Pools (Pierce)) Tet., EM, Sev, 6″ bloom, 29″ scape, 3 way branching, 17 buds.

I really don’t like introducing daylilies with substandard plant habit. Especially patterns because of my love for them. Fortunately that is not the case with Echo Chamber. After I saw it in it’s second year with those awesome 29 inch scapes and 3 way branching, I knew right then and there it was going to be an introduction. And then there’s the pattern. Consistent from beginning to end. This one is special. Echo Chamber is a light yellow bloom with a dark violet patterned eye zone with concentric circles, and a dark violet narrow outside edge. Echo Chamber comes into bloom in the early season and is so easy to work with. I’ve loaded it with pods in the past two seasons. I’ve seen a few of the kids and it definitely passes on it’s pattern.
